DECC Consultation on the Draft Climate Change Regulations 2012 and the Scheme Administration Charges

The Department of Energy & Climate Change are inviting views on the draft Climate Change Regulations 2012, and the Government response to the consultation on simplifying the Climate Change Agreements (CCAs) Scheme.
The draft Regulations appoint the Environment Agency as the Administrator of the scheme, sets out what a scheme participant will have to pay if they have failed their target and includes details of the proposed new penalty regime which the EA can impose for non-compliance under the scheme.
The consultation will end on 16th March 2012.
