Environmental Compliance are pleased to announce that as of 10th January 2011, we can claim UKAS/MCERTS accreditation for emissions monitoring / stack testing carried out to BS EN 14181.
From January 2011 it became a mandatory requirement UKAS Statement (123.73 KB)
that all process operators operating with a permit from the Environment Agency under the Environmental Permitting Regulations (EPR), who require this type of work, i.e. sites under the Waste Incineration Directive (WID) or Large Combustion Plant Directive (LCPD), must ensure that the correct accreditation is held.
Environmental Compliance were at the forefront of the initial UKAS assessment stage in 2010, going through specific audits to ensure compliance with BS EN 14181, with only a handful of test houses being granted accreditation.
“We are pleased to be able to offer customers and clients UKAS accredited services for all their EN 14181 requirements, including QAL2 and the Annual Surveillance Test (AST)”, David Boles, Managing Director.
